No less a Chicago icon than Carl Sandburg called Ravenswood home. Hey, if it was good enough for the city’s all-time poet laureate… In its original inception, this area was an early experiment in neighborhood planning – a residential zone pre-mapped to ensure comfort and convenience for its denizens. Modern-day Ravenswood maintains that standard of livability as one of Chicago’s best “something for everyone” areas, a bungalow and three-flat community that caters equally to the young and hip and the older and established.
