Located slightly inland from the lakeside environs of Rogers Park proper, West Rogers Park offers many of the same charms. One of Chicago’s northernmost neighborhoods, this is also one of its most diverse. The Devon Avenue strip in particular is home to dozens of shops and restaurants boasting culinary favorites from India, Pakistan, Israel, Russia and more. The apartment buildings, bungalows and two- and three-flats of West Rogers Park are home to a good number of professionals drawn to the area by affordable rents and close proximity to jobs in the Northern suburbs.
