Student Rep Program
Do you know people who need an apartment in Chicago? Send them our way. As a member of our Student Rep Program, you will earn $30 for each person who sets up an appointment with us. | Q | What constitutes a successful transaction? |
| A | It's simple. The program is automated: when a client you have successfully submitted comes into our office and is paired up with an agent, this is considered a successful transaction. |
| Q | When do I get paid? |
| A | Each month's pay period ends on the last day of the month. Paychecks are written and sent out on the 5th of every month. You will receive your checks in the mail (see comp plan). |
| Q | Do I get paid even if my referrals don't sign a lease? |
| A | You certainly do. All you need to do is get people into our office and working with a leasing agent. |
| Q | Will I need to claim my compensation on my taxes? |
| A | Yes. Before you can get paid on any successful transactions, we need a completed and signed 1099 tax form. You can find this form in the Rep Form Library in your account dashboard. |

| Q | Who are my potential customers? |
| A | Anybody who might be interested in moving to Chicago. This could include your friends, relatives, classmates, workmates or just random people on the street. While the Student Rep program is aimed mainly at college students, CAF's services are open to anyone who can legally sign a lease. |
| Q | How long does a person in my contact list stay active? |
| A | A prospective appointment can sit in your contact list for as long as you like. |
| Q | What if another rep retains info on someone who I already have on my contact list? |
| A | First come, first serve. The rep who registers the appointment first will receive credit for it. |
| Q | If someone reschedules an appointment and comes in on a different day, will I still get credit for the appointment? |
| A | Yes, you will. Because you are the originator of the appointment, you will receive credit. |
